CTET December 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Primary Level (Classes I to V):

  1. Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed), OR
  2. Senior Secondary with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education in accordance with NCTE Regulations, 2002, OR
  3. Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed), OR
  4. Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in a 2-year Diploma in Special Education.

Junior Level (Classes VI to VIII):

  1. Graduation and passed or appearing in a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed), OR
  2. Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in a Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), OR
  3. Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in B.Ed in accordance with NCTE regulations, OR
  4. Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in a 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed), OR
  5. Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in a 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed, OR
  6. Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in B.Ed (Special Education).

Candidates who have qualified B.Ed. recognized by NCTE or are pursuing a teacher education course recognized by NCTE/RCI can also apply for the CTET.

How to Apply for CTET December 2024?

  • Visit the Official Website: Go to the CBSE CTET official website at https://ctet.nic.in/.
  • Register: Click on the “Apply Online” link and register using your basic details like name, mobile number, and email ID.
  • Fill in the Application Form: After registration, log in and complete the application form by providing your personal details, educational qualifications, and preferred exam center.
  • Upload Documents: Upload scanned copies of your photograph, signature, and ID proof as per the required size and format.
  • Choose Your Exam City: Select your preferred exam center. Be quick because seats are limited in each city.
